  1. That's so cool how you're able to get your own book published! how long did it take you to write it? I'm writing my own books and wanted to get some feedback from you. If you could that would be great.

  2. I have not yet finished writing the book, but it has been about four years since the commencement its writings. I am working diligently at the story right now, making daily progress. It's very exciting!

I would love to give you feedback on your books. I am busy though, but if you like, you can visit my website at www.xenaquill.com, click on the FAQ tab, and fill out the question form. That would be the easiest way to get feedback from me on your stories. Great hearing from you!

  3. I can't wait to read your book, XQ! I know it'll be a great read. Congratulations on the new website, and blog. How are your other thirty books coming along? When will Arsenic be done?

  4. Thank you. I have put my other thirty books/concepts on hold so that I can finish the Legend of the Twelve Gems. I may begin a completely new book/story after the first LTG book is published. I'm not saying what this new story is yet, but as soon as it's underway, I will let you know.

Arsenic, the sequel to the first LTG book Zannophia, is still in the early stages of production, but I will try to get that written as quickly as possible. No telling how soon that one will come out, but with the cliffhanger ending I have planned for Zannophia, I'm probably going to have to get onto that book right away. I can already tell you that it's going to be a much easier story to write than the first, and it is going to be considerably darker than the first.
    Thank you for your questions.

  5. I am so excited for you! I know it is going to go far. so, XQ, My question is how you have time to do it all. As a fellow author I understand the challenges of buckling down and writing full force on the one book while putting other things on hold. Is iuniverse you're publishing team? thanks for taking the time to answer questions from a big fan!

  6. Thank you for your questions, Tarabithea!

Time-wise, I have to fit writing into my schedule, and at that, it's a small window of time, particularly during the school year when I already have such a big workload. But sacrificing other free-time activities (e.g. Facebook, web-surfing, shopping, etc.) and replacing them with writing is probably the best way to get writing in. The key is persistence. Even if it's only a few sentences, it counts as progress!

Yes, iUniverse is my publisher and I am really looking forward to getting this book out on the shelves! Back to writing then...
